What is the maximum capacity of the Main Hall?
a) Seated Theatre style, or standing or dancing only 130
b) Seated with small dance floor 90 to 120
c) Seated at tables with good size dance floor 70 to 90
NB – the maximum numbers depend on:
- type of event e.g. use of stage, tables format used and layout
- use of floor space by performers or presenters
- space and comfy factor required for attendees
- mix of children and adults
- mix of standing and seated
- ensuring fire exits are kept clear
What are the dimensions of the Main Hall & Stage areas
Main Hall dimensions and usable space are approx. 39ft (12m) x 43ft (13m)
The stage area is approx. 27ft (8m) x 13ft (4m).
What is included in the Main Hall hire – tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, power?
Hire rates include fair use of the tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, heating, power, water and normal lighting.
How many tables and chairs are available?
Tables:
Round - 4ft (122cm) diameter - seat 4-6 : 16
Rectangular - 4ft x 2ft 6in (122cm x 76cm) - seat 4-6 : 4
Rectangular - 6ft x 2ft 6in (183cm x 76cm) - (seat 6-8) : 14
Chairs:
Aluminium colour frame with blue seats/backs : 150
What can be set up in the Main Hall, are there examples?
Tables & Chairs to suit the hirer.
The stage is ideal for a DJ, Entertainer, Drama Production, presentation or “top table”.
Bouncy Castles or similar activity for Children’s Parties can be used (but due care must be taken NOT to damage the floor or remedial costs will be incurred).
